How is Wet Abrasive Blasting Different Than Traditional Sandblasting?
Traditional sandblasting has been around for many years and it works. However, problems involving operator safety, environmental impact and media containment/consumption have paved the way for new technologies such as wet abrasive systems. Wet abrasive blasting is much safer to operate, uses less media, is easier on the environment yet is as effective as traditional sandblasting. The functional difference is the addition of water into the blasting profile. For additional information, please see the What's the Difference page.
What Surfaces can you Blast?
Almost any surface... metal, brick, stone, asphalt, stucco, fiber glass, wood and more! Our equipment is gentle enough to clean sandstone and limestone, often used on historic structures, with the ability to leave zero profile, while at the same time effective enough to remove bottom boat paint leaving the industry standard 80 grit profile.
